Middle School 11:00 am in Room 15 Leaders - Lisa and Steve Coleman Our class is journeying through the books of the Old Testament this year, with a lengthy stay in the book of Genesis. This class will continue through the summer and we'll move into study of the New Testament in the fall.

Sunday School Exciting, age-appropriate lessons present key Bible stories and foundational concepts in a fun way. The classes are from 9:30 to 10:30 am: Ages 2 to 4 Room 5 Pre-K to Kindergarten Room 4 1st & 2nd Graders Room 3 3rd & 4th Graders Room 2 5th & 6th Graders (downstairs) Room 17
Kid’s Time Offered during the 11:00 am service. After the Children's Sermon, children are dismissed to the Orange Room for singing together, then dismissed to age appropriate rooms. You may pick your children up in the Children's Wing at the following rooms. Under 3 years (Nursery) Purple Room Ages 3 to Kindergarten Green Room 1st to 4th Grade Yellow Room Nursery Nursery care for babies and toddlers under 2 is available at the Purple door in the Children's Wing. We are a men's group that utilizes study guides, audio and visual material to study and discuss the Bible and the teachings of such authors as R. C. Sproul, Buddy Harrison, D. James Kennedy, Max Lucado and John Ortberg. We invite you to come and join us. Christians & Contemporary Issues 9:30 am in Room 14 Facilitator: Kay Brown Amazing Grace: Christians and the Global Slave Trade. First Presbyterian’s Christians and Contemporary Issues Discussion Group will examine modern slavery and sex trafficking using a Sojourners Study Guide. This four-week study begins at 9:30 am, Sunday, April 27, at First Presbyterian Church, 616 W. 10th Ave., Room 14. |
The Emmaus Class 9:30 am in Room 8 (off the Kitchen) Facilitator: Dorothea Lovejoy The study of the Foundations of Apologetics will enable participants to recognize the worldviews influencing our culture and develop knowledge in the trustworthiness of scripture. Complete with lectures and workbook, we will cultivate the skills to communicate that knowledge in a way that is winsome and effective. Quest Hey Senior Highers! As Christians we are all called to be ministers but at times we don’t know where to start or what to do. We will be looking at biblical ways of taking care of people completely. We meet Sundays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm downstairs in the Youth room (17). |

In our study of Faith Foundations we will identify the core beliefs of all Christians and their Biblical basis, with the objective of deeper personal understanding and increased faith. We will work on our personal statement of faith based on the understanding gained. |
The Vineyard Tuesdays from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Facilitator: Mark Allio Our young adult group has joined forces with Trinity Presbyterian. We meet every other week at each other’s homes for dinner and fellowship. We are currently focusing on reaching out and being Christ to our neighbors across Anchorage. Interested? Connections Wednesday nights from 5:30 to 7:20 pm, starting in Fellowship Hall. Good food, good friends, good study ! What more could you ask? Dinner is served at 5:30 pm. The cost is $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children 12 and under. Study groups start at 6:30 pm. See the Connections sign-up table for the current study options for adults. Children’s nursery care and an elementary class are included so that all members of your family are welcome. This program is designed to be flexible so that those involved in other Wednesday night activities can participate (Chancel Choir, Children’s Choir, VIP Choir, Native Fellowship, Committee meetings). |

Summer Middle School Mission Trip May 31 to June 8 Our 7th and 8th graders will be helping to lead and organize VBS at Haines Presbyterian Church. They will also be doing work at Rainbow Glacier Christian Camp. |

Summer Senior High Mission Trip June 19 to June 29 This year we will return to Mexico with the Azuza Pacific University outreach program. Our team of high school students and adults will join over 900 students for a week of active ministry in Ensenada.
