Weekly Schedule of Classes

Nursery Care

This is available for babies and toddlers under 3 in  the Purple Room during all three services.

Sunday School

Exciting, age-appropriate lessons present key Bible stories and foundational; concepts in a fun way.

All classes are @ 9:30 am.

Ages 2 to 4   Blue Room

Pre-K to Kindergarten     Green Room

1st and 2nd Graders   Yellow Room

3rd and 4th Graders   Orange Roo

5th and 6th Graders  Room 1 (Education   wing, downstairs)

Kid’s Time

Offered during the 11:00 am Service

After the Children’s Sermon, children are dismissed  to the Orange Room for singing together, then dismissed to age-appropriate rooms.  You may pick up your children in the Children’s Wing at the following rooms.

Ages 3 to Kindergarten Green Room

1st to 4th Grade Yellow Room

Parents, please pick up your child promptly in their room at the end of your service.

Youth Program

Sr. High Sunday School Leader—Tim Baker Sundays @ 11am in the Youth Room For the next year, this class will be going through the Pause: One Year Bibles.  Come and join us as we take on the challenge of reading the whole Bible in a year.  

Jr. High Sunday School Leaders—Steve and Lisa Coleman Sundays @ 11am in Room 15 Join us as we journey through the Old Testament.  This is a survey course to explore the books of the OT and see how they apply to our lives today.  Breakfast included.  Friends welcome.  

Quest—Sr. High Youth Group Sundays 7pm—9 pm Hey Senior Highers!  Sometimes it’s really difficult to understand our faith completely. It leaves us many questions to wrestle with.  So come and check out Quest as we study what our beliefs are all about.

Cord—Jr. High Youth Group Sundays 4:30 pm—6:30 pm Attention 7th and 8th Graders! Come for a time of games, food and fun as we get together to grapple with biblical questions and search for answers.  “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” – Ecclesiastes 4.12b

Fishers of Men

Facilitator–Bob Graham & Dennis Morgan

Sundays @ 9:30 am in the Library

A men’s bible study and fellowship group, we troll deeply into God’s Word to apply it to our daily lives.  While the conversation is Spirited, it is centered on relationships with Jesus and each other.  Join us for coffee, breakfast bars, community, and good fish stories as we grow in faith, knowledge and friendship.

 

Christians & Contemporary Issues

This discussion group seeks to discern Biblical responses to current problems. How do we resolve doubts about faith? What would Jesus do about the world’s most pressing problems? How can Christians apply our faith to the grave situations in the world?

God Sightings: One Year Bible

Sundays @ 9:30 am in the Upper Room

Are you challenging yourself to read the one year Bible?  Want to go deeper than just simply reading it?  Come join us as we discuss our reading from the past week and encourage each other to keep going!

 

Becoming a Good Samaritan

Facilitator—Rebecca O’Hara & Emily Huck

Sundays @ 10:50 am in Room 12

Participants will take an in-depth look at the Good Samaritan story told by Jesus and answer the question: “Who is my neighbor and how can I be the good neighbor that Jesus describes in this story?”

Conversational Evangelism (Apologetics Related Scripture): Strengthening individual faith and learning how to effectively share it with others; How to listen and speak so you can be heard; advanced “College Level” thinking. 

 

Let God Be God – Life Changing Truths From the Book of Job

Human suffering is a challenge everyone faces.  Today, many may feel more challenged than ever.  By exploring the life of God’s man Job, we see the questions of today that are part of the human experience.  We recognize that God’s character is to help us deal with our own personal challenges and also bring us face to face with our own humanity.

 

Young Adult Home Group

Facilitator—Tim Baker

Mondays @ 7:30 pm at Tim Baker’s House

There is a group of young adults meeting Monday nights for fellowship, dinner, and great Biblical discussion.   Come join us as we join together is strengthening out faith.

 

Tuesday Night Bible Study—

”Three J’s & a P”

Facilitator—Kathy Williams

Tuesdays 7:00 pm in Fellowship Hall

Tuesday Night Bible Study on the pastoral epistles of James, Jude, John, and Peter.  The course objective is to discuss the meaning of the passages studied with their context and how those passages apply to our present daily lives.
