Update from the Browns — We continue to enjoy living in "our" home in Central Asia, and are comfortable with culture and language even though there are quite a few differences from our previous experience. There is an excellent community of experts and other Central Asia based leaders that help us live in an encouraging community as part of Bible studies, togethers, school activities, holidays, and prayers. We also get to continue to experience normal day to day issues in living such as, electrical and heating problems, a broken down car, dollar exchange plunges, rising food/rental costs, cultural stress, homesickness, family issues, and language barriers. These all show and lead us to continue to rely on our faith in God for our daily and long term needs and activities as individuals, family, and as PC(USA) workers. Glory to God, Mike and Cathy Brown |
