Deacons

Deacons bring their time and talents to live out the church mission of SERVE. Throughout the year they are in instrumental in church life.

Examples of how Deacons serve are

• Meals and visits to those in need 
• Assisting with funerals  
• Preparing, delivering goody bags and spending time with members who are unable to attend church   
• Making coffee and serving cookies or other goodies after Sunday worship.
• Setting up communion for the first Sunday of the month.
• Organizing picnics, potlucks, and seasonal meals for the congregation.    
• Decorating for Advent.       
• Monthly service for the Anchorage Pioneer Home residents.
